We love seeing our books and albums used for out-of-the-ordinary projects, so were delighted when Doyle Yachts asked us to create a book to promote their handmade sails. Months later and we get to share it with you. We love how powerful the full bleed pages look, and think this is going to really help set them apart. Doyle chose to order two 12x12 Q Book Lights, and asked us for a complete 80 page design (160 sides). This meant we had enough room for large images, but also space to incorporate text throughout the design to explain different aspects of the sails. Projects To View More >>

Evocative, adjective: bringing strong images, memories, or feelings to mind.  When we released our Vintage leathers last month they clearly struck a chord. Were we surprised? Not really, because when we first saw them we fell in love. And to Heather, in particular, they felt like a return to our beginnings. So ... what’s to love? The beautiful colours first caught our eye, but beyond that, they evoke such powerful feelings of nature, authenticity and, for Heather, who's our founder, memories. Natural because of their earthy tones, evocative To View More >>

Our new Designer Album Box is the perfect way to present your albums. Order it as an optional extra in place of our standard presentation boxes and/or bags. Here are the details: How do I order? On the second page of the album set-up menu in Workspace you'll be asked how you want to present the album. Select Designer Album Box and the material colour. You can order the box plain or with an embossing — either Companion embossing (same as on the album) or Studio embossing.  What materials and colours are available? Our new boxes are available To View More >>

What’s the most important part of an album? Your photography and how it’s presented!  That’s why for a while now our primary focus has been on pages … more page types … more and better printing options … album design and proofing tools. But right now we're focused on covers! — giving you and your clients more cover materials to choose from, and even more ways to customise. Last week we announced 22 new cover materials … but that’s only half the story! Now you can take your albums to the next level with our compelling new range To View More >>

How do you target high-end clients? How do you stand out from the crowd? What types of albums could you, or should you, offer? Those are all good questions. Today we share why Duo albums might be the answer.  01. Turn your images into art What make Duos different are their unique pagemount mats. They frame your images with a striking key line, created by meticulously hand-trimming and mounting each print to fit inside the mat opening — each one presented with the same care and attention as your framed wall art. 02. A package superstar If you're thinking To View More >>

There's something so special about homestyle photoshoots. I love how they capture the people in the photographs – this one of Libby, Katie and Bradley by Megan Graham is no exception. When we spoke to Megan about the album she responded with, "Libby was so photogenic, and Katie and Bradley were awesome to photograph first thing on a Saturday morning! We were under the watchful eye of their cat Ed the entire time, who made sure we looked after little Libby. It was such a fun session."  Katie and Bradley ' chose an 8x8 portrait album with a simple Carbon Buckram cover with Bank Gothic To View More >>

Micro-Leather is our most popular cover material, right up there with genuine Classic Leather, and it’s now available as an upgrade for Studio Boxes. We've made some much-requested changes to our Q Book range: • We've added two extra sizes, A4 and A3. A3 and A4 are standard paper sizes in much of the world, but for those who aren't familiar they equate to approximately* 12x8" and 16x12" respectively (30x21 and 42x30cm). • You can now order both Q Book Lights and Mediums in the large A3 and 15x12 sizes. Although they are fairly similar we will run both sizes side by side for the time being. Designing Q Books The new A4 and A3 books do look great, and they're easy to design with the Workspace Album To View More >>
