Panic attacks — we all have them “My bookings are down.” “I’ve gotta cut my prices.” “I’ve gotta slash my costs.” We all have anxiety attacks, so maybe this chapter’s for you. Anxiety is worrying in advance, worrying without a plan, psychological rather than rational. And the actions you take while you’ve got the cold sweats could affect your business for a long, long To View More >>

Everything we do is about adding value to your photography … to help sell your art, your craft, your intellectual property, your time! Matting a work of art is a powerful, longstanding way to add to its worth, and we offer matting in several products — like albums, frames and boxes. But we also offer “loose” matted prints, and new customers are sometimes surprised to find they’re just as beautifully presented. We supply them with an embossed cover sheet to protect the mat and print … and make the treasure inside more special. The embossed Q device is important To View More >>

The first time I truly understand the power behind a brand name… I'm pulled over in Customs to be searched (I've obviously forgotten to take my nail file out of my make-up bag again – It happens far too often!) I open my bag and they start their search. The security guy is rummaging around my bag and unpacking it, naming everything as it came out, "Make up bag… novel… album…" So I stop him right there. "How do you know it's an album?" (It's in a Queensberry box.) "Oh," he said, "we see these boxes coming through all the time, we just To View More >>

The charming wedding of Mana and Sepehr was held at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto, Canada. Their photographer, Krista (from Krista Fox Photography), said, The wedding was beautiful in its classic simplicity. Mana and Sepehr are a beautiful couple, and the perfect complement to one another. Take a look at their 15x12 Duo - (the photographs in the abandoned ballroom are my favourite!) A beautiful translucent page to start the album. The first look and couple photos were taken at the top of the King Edward Hotel in a 1920s ballroom that was abandoned in 1950s with the implementation of stricter To View More >>

What a beautiful day full of laughter, tears and a lot of love! Claire and Milos - both dancers for the West Australian Ballet got married at Moore & Moore, A unique art gallery in Fremantle, Western Australia. Jimmy, their photographer from IZO Photography is based in Perth, Australia. Claire wore a dress specially made by a close friend of hers, coupled with a beaded bolero and chilli red shoes – simply stunning. I love First Looks. You get to see your other half before everyone else, and you have the time to take it all in before heading off for the ceremony. It’s a great To View More >>

We’re truly grateful to the hundreds of photographers from around the world who took part in our Bragging Rights promotion. Here, in no particular order, are the people whose work we chose to celebrate the love and laughter, vibrant cultures, dramatic environments and compelling stories we see every day in the books and albums we make... It used to be that people would ask me if I used film or digital, generally because they'd heard a horror story. I would show them an album and ask them firstly if they liked the quality of the images, and then what they thought it was shot with. Most guessed wrong and said "film". Back then my using digital could have undermined my perceived value. But what if your choice of suppliers added perceived value to your service? What if you had brides asking about your suppliers? If a client sought you out because you used Queensberry would you be offended? If you don’t tell your clients why your To View More >>

Made By Hand from Queensberry on Vimeo. Want to see what goes into making a Queensberry? We commissioned this brief movie as a way to say thank you to all the terrific people who make our albums … and who make us so proud. Johannes shot the images as he and I walked through the Queensberry Lab and Bindery one afternoon. The photography is all real and unstaged. Johannes created the video and set it to music by Amy Seeley, who has a lot of new fans. Thanks again to everyone involved, including the host of Queensberry photographers whose work you can glimpse along the way. Cheers, Ian PS If you To View More >>

When we added a pricing module to Queensberry Workspace, the last thing we expected was to have you ask us to bring back our old Excel calculator! It felt a bit like wanting to hand crank your car instead of use a newfangled electric starter, or our friends thinking that electric blankets in winter are for softies. Anyway thank you for speaking up, because we now understand why you liked them – and I think the outcome is pretty awesome. What we've done is replicate the old calculator online, so you can explore our entire range and see how prices are affected by the album size and cover material, To View More >>
